Yes, yes, yes, the import scene is coming along now. We had a whole sleugh vehicles to choose from. With saying that, VW is releasing the Golf R32 this year and I really think this thing looks awesome. Not to forget that it is all wheel drive too

AHHH YES the long awaited answer to my question....MP3 is goin up for sale...not only is it AWD it is also like 280hp and of course a sick body kit and interior and VW engineeres....YES

I thought it had like 230-240 hp. i could be wrong. either way it is a bad ass car. i love that color, and the "turbo" style bumper.

vw has already sent one to neuspeed for them to start to make performance parts and to tune it:D :D :D :D

You are correct, it's expected to be at 241hp. That is at the fly of course.

from vw vortex:
----------

On top of that the R32 starts at a price of 31,900 in Germany and would likely mean that our price would be very similar. Rumor has it that Pischetsrieder himself would like to see the R32 offered here in the U.S. So would we, so once again VWvortex is asking those of you that would seriously consider purchasing the R32 if it were offered here in the U.S. to take our poll linked below. Please only vote in the poll if you would actually purchase an R32 at a price at $32,000 or less. We'll send the results to Volkswagen of America and we'll see what happens. Stay tuned...

------

i think its going to be pretty expensive. with a huge markup like the EVO is getting. Im guessing 26-34. i dunno, the numbers just popped in my head, its a big spread.

I believe I saw a published 0-60 of 6.6...well that doesn't really impress me if it's going to cost in the high 20's plus markup...I think vw/audi's all wheel drive systems seriously hamper acceleration...obviously not in terms of traction but in terms of power.

Look at the A4 and Passat 4 motion.

That said...looks cool...nice power.

there was a review about it in the december-january issue of C&D.

VW R32:
$price range (Idunno)
0-60....6.4sec
1/4mile 14.6@96mph
Topspeed 144mph

also consider that is a N/A engine...no turbo...so figure a nice setup with a good chip, i am sure u wiil be seeing near 400hp...all wheel drive...hmmmmmm...and the evo is like in the 40's...this is for like 30's, not too bad...

Does it have a place to put flowers?(hippy)

Seriously, my good friend was on the ball on this one and he put his deposit down a couple of months ago - he's selling his spot in line on eBay I believe.

That's a bit overly optimistic I think, but hey.....sky's the limit.

Is this r32 turbo, becuase if it not well....
I prefer the long awited evo. You can get them from carmax locations at retail....28900 not 40k;)

The price for the R32 will be just under and right at $30,000. To me, that is way too much to pay for ANY Golf. Sorry, but that car is just too small for that price. They will not sell as well as other cars it will be competing with.

come now...this is not the ordinary GOLF...it is almost like the s2k...240hp and NA....this R32 is NA....YAY!!!!!!!!!!
