Upper oil pan gasket?

2001 Protege ES
Hi all, I have a 01 ES 2.0 with a leaky upper oil pan gasket. I've done a fair bit of searching and found a few helpful hints on changing it, but I figured I'd see on here if anyone could direct me to a decent set of instructions on how to do it. Doesn't seem to be too difficult of a job, just terribly time consuming and I'll finally have time to tackle it next week so any first hand info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Drain oil
Remove bolts
Remove oil pan
Scrap old gasket off
Clean surfaces
Put new gasket on
Put gasket maker in the corners
Install oil pan and bolts
Change oil filter while your there
Add oil

Done

Ok, I'll clarify a bit, I'm looking to change the "upper" oil pan gasket and am hoping someone has tips on how to access the 2 bolts which are hidden by the bell housing. It would make life a lot easier if I could find a way to do this without having to remove the transmission.

the only way to get them is to remove the bell housing, which involves at least unbolting the tranny.

Agreed, You must remove the transmission..

It is possible to drill a hole in the trans to access the windage tray... (Which is what that part is called)

There is no Gasket.

It is Permitex Black Silicone.

Thank you for the replies, I guess the silicone seal explains why I was having a hard time finding a gasket at the local parts shop (oops)
