I started hearing a buzzing sound when the bass was at low levels- 1stMP3 suggested it was a wire the cone was firing against. Well I took it in to Tweeter tonight and it turns out the sub cone WAS indeed contacting something. I didn't get to talk to the installer but the Moble Manager explained, quickly what it was, something like the top of the woofer was excurting against the silicone gasket....or something along those lines. So I have to take it in sunday to have the box fixed. Also when it's in they are going to sand down and repaint the inside of the box where the nicks were. Untill then the sub is disconnected (just in case playing it might cause damage)...So no BASS for me till SUNDAY! UGH!!! Sucks because I JUST got it. Although playing the stereo without the bass really let me appreciate the fidelity of the Boston Pros....man they sound incredible!
