Turn Signal/Pakling Lamp

I had front fender damage repaired at my insurance company's "preferred body shop" and shortly after noticed my drivers side front turn signal was not working. im due for inspection this month and bought a replacement bulb but when i went to install it, there was no socket to plug it in, just the wire harness. they said the didnt touch my headlights/turn signal and now im having a horrible time trying to find one. this is the orange light that blinks when i use the remote to lock/unlock and is also the turn signal...

can anyone tell me the technical name for this "socket/ballast/assembly" type situation that the bulb plugs into or where to find one? im becoming really frustrated.

Is it the turn signal indicator on the fender or the marker light built into the headlight? It is EXTREMELY common for body shops to forget or overlook things like that I see it all the time.
