I have a leak coming out of my left axle, when I went under the tranny to crack open the filler nut to check the fluid level I heard a hissing noise coming past the threads. I don't know if it was air rushing in or out, I checked the fluid again a few days later and the same thing happened. Is this normal, is the air coming in or out?
If it's not normal, is there a breather valve that I'm unaware of that could be plugged?
