I have been here for a while now and I realized that this forum really grew. When I first registered, this was one of the most quiet forums ranging from about 3 new post a day. It was a lot quieter than the mp3 forum. Now, look at the post count and the thread count. It is 3 times the amount of the mp3 forum and there are more threads and post than the off-topic forum. This forum is the most busiest forum now and has the most post and threads on this board. It shows that the mazdaspeed proteges are getting quite a bit of attention.

I know I'm new here and all, but I'd say this Mazdaspeed forum is healthy enough to be its own board all by itself, or at least have it's own subdivisions, like Performance, Troubleshooting, Interior, Exterior - exclusive to the MSP.

All true....and we still can't get organized with seperate sections for us....We need the MAZDASPEED section to be broken down once more. Audio, Pictures, How-to etc.

if people posted in the right forums or searched rather than posting the same question over and over and over and over again, like i hear they do in other sections, the post count would be much lower ;)

jred321 has a legitimate point. no need fo such high numbers in such a short amount of time. :D

the only thing i can say is to contact enry and antoine and voice your concerns that the msp section needs seperate subdivisions. theyve been told, but for whatever reasons, havent done it.

not to mention, no offense, but the likelyhood of a msp owner posting in the right section EVEN after the seperation would prolly never happen.

Creating separate forums is super easy, takes like 5, maybe 10 minutes tops to admin the changes. If there are enough folks interested in doing this, perhaps we should start a petition thread and propose what subdivisions are needed, then if we get enough response we can lobby the mods to get the admins to make the changes or something... *sharpens pitchfork*

i can start the thread for you guys (because ive brought it up in the past)...check in about 5 minutes in the help section

So you guys are wanting it kinda like Evolutionm.net. The Evo's have their own General, Tech, Wheel Tire, how to and photo.

Great idea. I often get frustrated while searching for just MSP info and having to dig through P5 stuff. The search function is a key feature. The more you use it the easier it is to use and find what you are looking for. I am going to go vote.

Yeah, cause installing tires, stereos, suspension upgrades, body kits and interior components is different on the MSP than it is on the P5/Sedan.
Anything to create more clutter and slow down the server....

I suppose maybe there should be just an added bonus to using the Search fuction. Maybe just making people more aware of it's usefulnees before they start a new thread and just get flamed for it. I agree that most of the stuff applies to the protege line across the board. I do wish people would post in the right threads it makes looking for information much easier.

It could create more clutter if they treat it the same as the other forums; my advice would be to have the Mazdaspeed forum list the same as it currently does on the main page, and when you click on the forum link it opens a sub-section with the different sub-categories. That would keep the main page from being too cluttered, and make the sub pages fully accessible when inside the Mazdaspeed section. The only reason things are so scattered right now is because instead of going to the general Performance Forum for lets say turbo upgrades, the members know that they are more likely to get an answer here...

I'd be interesting in seeing any hard data supporting your sever speed issue you've raised... condensing the information into a sub section as I've listed should only serve to "lighten the load" so to speak. Especially if it reduces the number of duplicate posts.

I can agree with splitting up the MSP. I have always noticed I think the most users are in that forum.
