The Scion xA (not like the boxy buttugly xB). What do you chaps think of it? Not too shabby, IMO.

I think the xB has a definite cool factor to it....this xA looks like an Echo wagon, or a mini matrix.

I think it stole the doors straigh off the matrix and squished them into the side of a PT cruiser...

You're comparing it to the PT Cruiser and the Vibe, but what you don't realize is that this thing is TINY. You should be comparing it to the Insight. Think French car tiny.

I read a review of it in some magazine I picked up at the airport. The speedo is in the center of the dash a la mini style. The xB looks more like a cardboard box than Volvos ever did. . .and a turbo-charged coupe version is in the making. I can scan some of the pictures this weekend if you're interested in seeing them.

As for a P5 competitor...it is just way way too small. I would hate to see what happens to this thing when it get in an accident with a Suburban. I'd imagine it would be something like when James Bond is driving the tank in Golden Eye.

what a deluge of responses! as for the xB, now that thing's friggin nasty. scion's website just cracks me up, trying to be trendy and hip. toyota is looking for any way to break free of the strictly forty and fifty year old buyers market!

The only cool car that I've seen come out from Toyota is the SportCross. Wouldn't mind owning that. Other Toyota cars, forget it.

eh. It would look good in the streets of London. Just doesnt fit american roads, I think. I mean, you wouldnt catch me driving a peugeot 206 turbo here, but I would be rocking the hell out of one of those things in France.

Scion gives out some good quality shirts at the car shows. I have two soo far and was going to get a hat at the last show but forgot to go back. The XB truck is dope looking but needs power. This XA I can take it or leave it Ehhhhh
