thats where your wrong the cleveland is the worst, all they have is sound, you have to change the heads just to get any power out of them, the exhaust ports turn down before they come out, and exhaust does not like to turn down, not to mention the weight, I can take my 351 windsor put good heads on it, and I am good to go, I can also build it up to a 440 small block.

I put new cams on my bicycle... now it won't go anywhere.. i pedaled like a madman, and nothing - just some weird grinding noise... i'm just gonna put the gears back on

btw - you are aware that you're discussing the 'quality' of Ford on a Mazda board, right? why would any of us side with you.

and BTW, nothing sounds sweeter than a Carrera GT... kiss that ass, please.

ha ha ha, smartass, btw, ford owns mazda, the mazda truck is nothing but a carbon copy of the ranger, thats a pickup that ford has had out since the 80's for those of you who dont know, so when you talk about a ford you are pretty much talking about your own s***, and the best sound in the world is a 1967 ford mustang GT 500 with a 427 scj ( super cobra jet )

Now by no means am I a ford guy, but how many old fords came from the factory that were meant to be fast and had the winsor? Didn't they all come with the Cleavlands?

no the mach ones all came with 351 windsors, 69-71 windsors where alot better then the ones of today, mine is a police interceptor.

Actually, Mazda does still design most of it's own s***. the FS engine is Mazda, no Ford. Ford has nothing to do with it. the MS6 uses the 2.3L 4cyl cuz Mazda didn't want to try modding the Ford 6cyl that's in the 6.
The Escort had a BP engine - that belongs to Mazda.
3/4 of american cars are just rebadged british, australian and korean cars now anyways.. so you're not in any position to talk about who's controlling who.

i am a smartass, i'm glad you noticed. but you only mention 1 mazda creation that's a copy of a US product.. cuz the japanese have NO USE for a pickup truck. when gas is $3-4/gallon and the lowest octane you can get is 91, would you want to bother paying for a dumptruck V8 that would burst into flames if you put in anything over 87?

the Japanese have cornered the automotive world... US cars have nothing on Japanese cars as far as design, comfort and power:value ratio.
i can drive ~625km on 55L (390miles on 14.55gallons) without any hassle, and i can still smoke Cavaliers and Sunfires (not bad for an NA ATx protege).. and my car will outlast those cars by a decade.

Obviously you have no idea what "own" means in the business world.
Try to find the factory in US that made our P5.
I guess when you go to bathroom for a major dunk, you put your body upside down cause the $hit comes out from the wrong hole.

Ok this is the last post (I think) that I'll make about fords. I hate not knowing what I am talking about so I made some calls. Out of 5 Ford shops I asked witch is better to mod 351c or the 351w. All said the Clevland. Why, ture 351c are BBs and the 351w is a SB. The Torrino that was world famous for killing the Mopars at Daytona (ran a constant 200 mph) all ran a modified 351c call a 400 modified HO.
The 351c V 351w is like apples to oranges. And I stand by what I said before, you should have went with the 351c.
