Suggestions for Replacing OEM 2016 CX-5 Halogen Headlight Assemblies

Have restored/renewed my daughters's CX-5 Touring headlights for probably the last time. Can't really swing $1000 for OEM. Any recommendations for non-OEM halogen assemblies?

Touring is that expensive? They were only about $400 from Mazdaswag the last time I checked, a couple years ago. I had one replaced due to a fender bender and was thinking about doing the other at the time.

Are you saying you replaced them? Sorry, you said "restored/renewed" but the $$$ implies replacing? I'm thinking about replacing both but looks like a ridiculous amount of labor and the new units seem to be priced all over the place and fitment issues also seem hit or miss. Care to share your experience if you did replace the whole headlight assemblys?
Just checked Mazdaswag, on sale $298.

Did a quick search and it appears that RockAuto has a couple of options (Depo, TYC) starting as low as $100 USD for lens/housing only (no socket or bulb). I imagine shipping would add a good chunk to the cost, but Depo and TYC have been making aftermarket headlight/taillight assemblies for years. I'd be comfortable giving either of those options a try for the price.
