Sub Placement

Right now I have my amp mounted to the smaller folding rear seat in my P5. I was wondering if I could mount a 10 in sub on the other seat, that way if I want I can fold the seats down to show it off or make it louder. What would that do to vibration, more or less. I plan on the box being mounted about 2-3 in above the floor of the hatch. Will someone with audio knowledge help me. Thanks

A properly build sub box will probably be to heavey for the seat to support it. You would be just as good to just have a box that fires toward the seat. Then you can stilll just fold down te seat to show it off or get more db.
