Steering wheel controls brightness.

Hey everyone this is very random. On my 04 6wagon on the steering wheel controls cruise and volumn my left controls (volumn) are much brighter than the right (cruise) controls. Any ideas. I popped them off and they each have all the little led lights working. They are clean as well. Maybe this is the same on everyones.

Sometimes the location of the bulb relative to the button it is intended to illuminate will affect the brightness. I notice on the instrument panel of my MS6 that some buttons are slightly dimmer than others around it. It appears to be due to uneven distribution of light.

Thank you sir, that is what I was figuring but if it was just mine I was going to pick up a wheel on Ebay and replace my buttons and see if that changed anything.

amber...orange... etc. They are definitely not red. Unbuckle your seatbelt or pull your ebrake...thats how "red" should look.

They call them amber, not red. Funny, I always thought amber was more yellow/orange than what we have. Ours are a red-orange IMO.
