I have that problem as well. I took the spoiler off and stuck some matting to the leading edge that meets with the roof. Got rid of the problem. It's the edge of the spoiler that touches the metal body of the car that is doing the rattling.
Do a search for spoiler rattling. I think the title of the Thread was I finally did it (or something like that.) I went through the instructions of what I did.
yeah get that fixed...that's one of my biggest pet peeves when people drive up blasting their stereo and all you can hear is the rattling from the spoiler and other body parts
Same thing happens on mine. The LED housing rattles and the spoiler a tad too. When I hold onto the LED housing most of the rattling stops. But, that also prevents the spoiler from rattling much as well since I'm dampening it with my hand.
I can't hear the rattle from inside though, so it's not a big deal for me. I don't care much for what everyone on the outside can hear.
i've got the same problem but haven't done anything to fix it yet. before i even put the subs in i was sure the license plate was going to rattle like crazy since only 2 screws, but after installing touching the license plate seemed to do very little. and just like you guys pointed out it was the spoiler. i've heard from a couple people now it's really that third brake light housing. yesterday though i was letting someone hear how it all sounds and put my hand on the license plate and it was all gone. so yea as of right now i'm completely confused as to which the problem is. the license plate is going to be the easiest by far so i'll try that first. anyone know for sure which makes the biggest difference or any other sources of rattles?
