Great, i want a CAI... but i am already on the urge on stalling even without the CAI... so is there any solution into the stalling problem or all stick cars with CAI has that?
well I am not sure about others but I no that my car if lets say I am around like 4500 rmp and I push in the clutch to stop at a light or somthing, somtines my s*** will stall while im still moving:wtf:
yes, it is stock and does not happen that offten I just think that the car idols(i cant spell) kindda low. mine is around 600 rpm once its warmed up. I usually just blip the throttle a littel if i think it is going to happen
There are already 30 threads throughout various boards for the idle issue.
Try this, if you are on the highway going 60-80 accelerate slightly and before the car switches to engine breaking, push and hold the clutch to the floor.
What does the cars idle do?
Dude!!! Come down to Oakland, TN! I will show you some great roads for the 'Back Road Boogie', and we will drink some good beer, and talk about our 'kick ass' MAZDASPEEDs!!!
I think that there should be a little screw that you can adjust by were the throtle cable comes into the engine. mabey not i no that my old cutlass calais had one but s*** that was an 88' so I am probably wrong
If your car is stock get it to a dealer know I will get everyone a single contact at mazda so we can all report the issue. If we all call singly they will try to make all of us beleive it is an isolated instance.
So you guys know there ar3e MP3s, regular sedans, P5s and now MSP all reporting this issue.
There is no way to adjust this trust me, we all need to get a contact at mazda and barrade them with this.
I will try to get Michelles extention, she is the woman I spoke with at Mazda USA customer service and reported this exact problem. I think it was 116 but I can't remeber for sure.
