So why does everyone have a hard-on for the titanium?

Just thought I'd throw this out there because every other post seems to be "titanium this" and "titanium that" and "oh my gosh I want to hump the tail pipe of the titanium MSP".

Did they make fewer of the titanium 03.5's than the others? I mean, I definitely think it looks the best of the new colors, but come on, it's just a color. Now if it were a limited production of compared with the rest, I would understand. Can anyone clear up this titanium fascination for me?

Listen, when the orange came out, everyone talked about the orange. The Titanium is just new, and before the last couple of week it's been completely unseen by most. We post pics so those who haven't been fortunate enough to see it at an autoshow somewhere ( even they weren't the final car anyways) could see what we have been waiting for all this time.

Everyone seen Orange way before it came out. Pics were available in magazines, internet etc. How many pictues of the titanium are there on the Mazda.com site? NONE, maybe 1 little one. How many mags have you seen in it in? None. The titanium has been shown the least ( well, minus the blue/silver which aren't made yet). Even Mazda has shown the yellow one on their site, but no titanium.

So, this is just a phase, and it will repeat once the blue comes out. Why complain? Everyone did it with the orange and black. I'd say there is less then 10% the pics and post of the titanium then there is of the orange/black, so what's the problem?

Not complaining newf. Just wondering why everyone's getting so excited about a color. I guess being the proud owner of a black '03, I'm not too excited about the new '03.5's. My personal opinion is the spoiler looks too much like a stock Honda spoiler, I like the way the old rims contrast with the car better, and I don't like the absence of the fog lights. So when it comes to appearance, color seems like a funny thing to get all excited about. (Though I have to agree, that the titanium is a SWEET color) Now if only someone would post pics of a titanium '03!

Maybe because Mazda's Progeganda compaign uses Yellow all the time? So anything that deviates from this colour is a treat.
