those headlights are on a mazdaspeed and the black es has had a swap done. those are dg carbon eyelids. www.dgmotorsports.com they are pretty cheap like 50 + shipping.

Actually, I don't think those are DGM eyelids. Their design doesn't wrap around the entire headlight, but instead cuts off at the hood line so it looks good with their carbon fiber hood. Maybe someone bought "carbon fiber" type vinyl, - if that's possible.

the black headlight housings come stock on all the new 2003 proteges.. Im not sure about any of the MSP's though...

I think all regular proteges have black headlight.

Yeah, I agree about the sedans, but Roy's 2003.5 P5 does NOT have black...

nope, only the sedans have the black housings. In Canada, the P5 comes stock with black housings. And that is definitely a fake carbon fiber eyelid set. But it looks great.

most sticker shops should be able to get it...There is a place near me that has it, and I thought about using it for any decals I do whenever I get my CF hood.

Motorcycle dealers can order you a couple sheets of that stuff. Its in the Parts Unlimited catalogue

another idea for eyelids....

here is what i did for eyelids. Just vinyl...but adds a unique look. I can get them for 20 bucks if anyone is interested. I know the silver matches the paint color perfectly...but dont know about any other colors. PM me in interested.

but vinyl doens't withstand rocks one has a major chip im going to be removing this and when my erebuni eyelids come in i'll have them cf overlayed at a local shop and put them back on.

wait..i have a 2k2 DX..I dont have black housings..it must be for the 2k3+ sedans..damnit I want them..anyone know where I could pick up the housings?

Emblems

I just popped the front/rear emblems off with a small screw driver. Then I spent some time sanding them down to get off the chrome paint. I sprayed on some primer, gloss black, and clear coat. I put on several coats and left it under a heat lamp in our install bay.

I think it looks good, I just want to get rid of the '01 protege emblem on the left part of the trunk and get the new emblem from the '02's. They look alot better.
