Scapamouche, did you get those 225/45 falkens yet?

I'm eager to hear of their fit.

I've got them, but they're not on the car yet. They arrived yesterday, and my local shop will be putting them on on Tuesday.

I did a little measuring, though, and I'm worried:

The Falkens are a full 1.5 inches wider than the RE040s!!! That is a BIG increase!!! And if you do the math, that comes to an overall diameter increase of >1 inch.... I'll measure the as mounted diameters and widths when they're available, because I'm sure these dimensions will be a bit different when mounted.

Unmounted they are going look really really big. Once they get put on though they should be the same diameter (almost) as the 215/45/17s. As for width... yeah they should be about an inch wider. Thats why I'm concerned about rubbing.
