hey car phreeks

will a remote starter screw up / hinder any mods that i mite do in future?? does a remote start hurt a car in any way?? any opinion in brands??

i originally wanted to get a turbo timer, but i figure i can just get this and turn it off when i'm a few good feet away from car.. pls gimme some inPut

Most shops will not do it however, due to liability reasons. Shops do not want to hear "my car just ran into my garage, it's time to pay me for damanges" because of it.

If you know someone at the shop you take it too, they can do it. You may also be able to slip the installer some cash as a tip. That may persuade him to do it.

hey, remote start will not hurt anything since it's just like starting a car with a key, had it in my 2000 Si, a few of my friends have on their cars as well.
Got mine done at a honda dealership, got worranty on it too.........

i had a start lock where if the car was in gear it would not remote-start.

i think there is also bypass that lets u start the car even if it's in gear....
i think my friend has that, i'll talk to him and let u know.
