My neighbor notices with his red mp5 that when he washes in .. and get done .. if he opens the back hatch and lifts the left, back side corner of the mat there is a puddle in the far bottom little cubby hole if you will .... where the inner pannel is .. so it is actually taking in water but not from the hatch or the hatches weather stripping????? what gives ill post a pict if i need to

Hmm never encounter this and I wash it every single weekend.
Could the water in some way be coming in when he opens the hatch? Perhaps check it by going through the back seats instead of opening the hatch.
I'll go look later today to see if there is any channel that "may" be causing it, or some other means.
