Can anyone go out to their garage and measure the width of the tracks the seat rides on? I want to put a set of power seats from a 2010 6 into my 2009 Mazda5. My tracks are 18.5" from outside to outside, 15.5" from inside to inside. What do they measure on the 6? Easiest way is probably to slide it all the way up and measure at the back of the seat. Not sure if it goes back far enough to check the width at the front. I can use the measurement from either power or non-power since its the same for either.
Now for the power seat question, is the memory function built into the seat itself? I checked into it and it appears that it is, I just want to verify. It seems the computer to store the memory is mounted to the bottom of the seat and its all self contained. I realize it will not work with the key fobs but I'm not concerned about that. Thanks in advance!
