Posted this in the P5 section but never got an answer hoping you guys will know

I have a popping noise when turning the wheel when stopped it will do it 6-10 from wheels centered to turned fully. It does it turning left and right. If I'm moving it won't do it as many times (1-4times) but it will be louder. If I'm going above 35 it won't do it. The noise is the spring jumping I can visibly see it move, drivers side doesn't. The problem is getting worse it used to do it only in the rain but now it's all the time and getting louder. I need to get this fixed ASAP I'm thinking it's the strut bearing but I want to be 100% before I do it as I work 60+ hours a week so I'll only have one chance to fix it this weekend, and it will be July before I have another weekend off

also check the other pivot in that system : lower control arm ball joint.

Just found out mine was bad, and it pops when turning, bumps etc.

Mine will pop if I go to the 1/4 panel and push down.... as this will flex the lower control arm joint, if it does not pop when you are pushing down/releasing... Then I think it would be pretty safe to say that its the strut bearing.

The only thing that pops is the end link on the opposite side but I'll try pushing down on it. Is there anything else that could cause this? I'd rather not spend half a day to replace one thing that could cause it I'd rather replace anything that could cause it unless it starts gettin to expensive
