As always, take it to a few mechanics to get a couple of opinions before paying anything. Avoid those who say "Oh, its going too need a new [insert expensive part here]"; see if they can tell you the exact problem. I assume you just bought the car, as it seems to have multiple problems; contact the previous owner to see if he/she knows of any major problems, they might have not said anything during the sale. If you've owned the car for a while, try to remember if problems started at the same time, or independently. If you've got a check engine light, get someone scan/read the codes; Autozone and other auto parts stores do it for free.

Okay, now the specifics: you might have an old/flat/bad battery, see if you can get a different battery just to test it. If not, again get someone to check the battery. If it's still under warranty you can get it replaced if it's bad; they'll check there. Also look to see exactly what other lights flash; if all lights flash, that is normal only during start-up. Most vehicles act this way, so it should be obvious when something is wrong. What transmission is it - auto or manual?

I'm not much of a mechanic, but trying my best to help. Also if any other members would like to contribute; like I said I'm not an expert - these are general guidelines.

First, take your car to an auto parts store and ask them to test the battery. They will most likely have to remove it from the car and charge it for a while. Next, if the battery is good, ask them to test running voltage to the battery at idle speed. If voltage is below, say 13 volts at the battery terminals while the engine is running, the problem could be the alternator.

You can always just take your car to a repair shop but for now, do not use your headlights or windshield wipers. If your altarenator is bad, your car may stall and not start while you are waiting at a stoplight.
