Pic of my liquid intercooler setup

one more thing yes your car can still heatsoak if you let the water sit but if you wire the pump to a switch the pump can be running while your shopping or doing what ever and youll be way better off. Mine is hooked to a switch with led. If the led is not on then i know the pump is done and i have to swapp oumps. I use bullet heads for the wires so swapping is easy if you plan ahead..

Why do you say you think you'd see a huge difference switching from fmic?
As was mentioned, throttle response. I would be willing to bet (NOT FROM EXPERIENCE THOUGH) that my setup cools as well as a front mount, but as little, or better lag than stock.

No, I had to piece mine together. But I'm working on a parts list.

Sweet! Thank you for this great contribution, keep up the good work. I'd be stumped trying to figure it out on my own. I don't even know what parts you need for this.

heres a pic of an extra i have i think i got 2 this one maybe a bosch but there either bosch or Denso good brands..

Can the bosch/denso be mounted anywhere or does it have to be in te same area as the white pump?

anywhere but it is gravity fed meaning water needs to be in in the pump and then it will push water you can not let it suck air then hopethat it will pull water...does it make sence?

I work with water pumps for a living, and these pumps are called a "flooded suction" pump. This means they won't lift water, that the inlet of the pump has to be below water level. This doesn't mean the lowest point in the system (as you can see in my setup).

I just noticed (correct me if I'm wrong) no big name companies make any air/water intercoolers
No, AFIK, nobody makes and off-the-shelf liquid intercooler. This is due to popularity and profit. If somebody made a liquid intercooler kit, they would have trouble selling it because everybody wants a front mount, also, they wouldn't be able to make as much money on each unit if they wanted to sell it as the same price point as a FMIC.

Thats where i got mine..My setup pretty much consist of a frozen boost Intercooler a basic heat exchanger and a water pump. Then its a matter of wiring and plumbing.
