Painted Autometer Gauge Pods?

Hello all,

I just bought a single A-pillar pod for my autometer boost gauge from jegs, and was curious if anyone else has it and knows if it needs to be painted or not. I did a search, but didn't find anything conclusive.

Does anyone know if the Autometer single a-pillar pod for the 01-03 Protege matches our grey pillar? Or does it need to be painted? If it does, where do we get a paint that will match exactly? Will the dealer be able to get that? Or is there someplace cheaper?

it comes in black...so u would have to get the paint somwhere...many places have had trouble matching the colour of paint...but people did find it....do a search and find out...cuz I don't feell like doin one

I EAT Z3 claims to have some paint that matches perfectly. i plan on contacting him when my pod is ready
