P5 -> MSP interior conversion

If I lived closer, I'd trade you...I've got almost 21,000 miles on mine already. I could get that 9,000 back up to a high number fairly quick, and you'd have one closer to your regular mileage. Not a great answer, but it'd be closer than being off by 20,000 miles:)

I've got the same problem you have, except I've never taken my car in for service at Mazda. I guess if I had to go for any reason I'd just put my broken cluster back in. Here's a pick of my Mazdaspeed gauges in KPH

Are you going to ba at life on sunday (19th). If so bring your old guage and I can show you what to do. The Pics look great as well, now just switch the steering wheels and sell me the old one :D

I would ask the dealer about the mileage thing.

I keep hearing how it's stored in the cluster, and can't be rolled forward - but my scooby-sense tells me that's just too easy - and that there has to be a way of protecting against odo fraud.

And BTW - you need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off. Simple little tool that works with your socket set to yank the wheel off - head on down to the local auto parts store and ask - shouldn't be more than $10 - $15.
