Ok I Talked To Fiber Images

and i sent them a lenghty e-mail about our car and our little clube here (protege5.com) and asked if they were interested in making a P5 hood and this is what i got

Just send him the pics of it installed. How can you not do this. I don't have a digi cam, but I still find ways to get pics of my cars. You made the effort for this, so you should get the benefit first.

look they want to take my car and put the hood on and then if it looks good then they will take pics of it and then post it on there website ... so i cant aske them to sell me a hood for sponcership cost only under the assumption it looks like what they want

Fiber Images has had a hood for the 01 Protege for over a year now. I'm not sure why that guy who responded to your email told you otherwise. The Protege Sedan and the P5 have exactly the same hood.

ok i called matt and he siad he would love to set this up for me and any others that decide to get involved as long as we have enough people involved ..i am sure no matter what we will work out a great deal... and he is the direct sales for Fiber images and he is calling the owner now and will be calling me back soon ..he says he has them for the MP3 and MP5 but has not been able to get good picts for the web page so lets all pray about this one and when i find out about prices ill let you all know

ok heres the deal ..so far..... mat talked with the owner of Fiber Images and advised of our conversation and he said for starters he would be able to offer us this(see below) ... now they have 3 differant hoods 1 is for 99-01 Protege (4 dr sedan) and is the Lancer Style (vented) and
2 is for 01-02 MP5 & MP3 factory style
3 is for teh new 2003 Mazda 6 factory stlye

and he says that the 99-01 is listed as $775.00 USD since it is the vented Lancer Style and the 01-02 MP5 and MP3 is $650.00 USD and the 2003 Mazda 6 is showing at this point to be $775.00 USD. and for our deal is starting as follows

2 or more we get $50.00 USD off each
5 or more we get $125.00 USD off each
10 or more we get $150.00 USD off each...
and again he did say this is for now to see how it rolls and he did not mention anythign about shipping or tax but i have a tax ID and so i wont pay tax well hope this helps he is super excvited and will be willing to work with us the best he can

he also just e-mailed me and said if I (or anyone else )orders one today he will send it for $549 + shipping and it will be here before the 1st of January !!!!!!
