"News" on a VW site turns ultra-dumb!

8 pages of pure tripe over the MS6, on the "news" of it being discontinued, finally I had to post, seemed to shut the know-it-alls right up.

3+5, thank you for gettin on there and setting a few things straight. While no car is a dream for 100% of the population, the MS6 has gotten more than its share of crap from people who don't even own one, therefore never really learned how to drive one. Money as a big consideration, I can't think of another car I rather have at this price point...but I'm a HUGE AWD junkie. My 91 Talon TSi got me hooked and I'm finally back where I belong.

I was also over there defending the Speed 6. I did want to point out that "The Car Lounge" section of that website is not in any way affiliated with VW. So it's not really a "VW Site".

Not sure if you were implying that I'm a VW driver....

I drive an 06 GT Mustang. My point was that people in every forum bust other people's balls for whatever car they drive so I don't see the need for thread expressing outrage over some VW guys talking s*** about MS6s.

Hey, I like all good cars, had a few too. Even owned a VW bug. No idea what year, had no fenders. My buddy owed me for a 66 Coronet he bought from me & parted out. Paid me with this Bug that was barely running, I junked it to scrounge parts for a 65 Bonneville I was driving that mostly needed a heater core, the trade gave me run of the yard and I got bags of stuff. Although it was my only VW ownership, I've had one. No hatin' here, just setting things right.
