New guy here, just saying hello!

As the title say's, I'm new here to the forum and to Mazda 5's, so hello to everyone!
I just picked up an '06 GT 5sp, and am just starting to get to know it. So far it's great, with lot's of potential for a project vehicle that's also practical for me to own. I come here to the Mazda world from the Turbo Dodge world, specifically '89 Turbo Caravan/Voyager van's. I have been modifying/repairing/hating/loving them for almost 10 years now, but I have run out of energy for them and wanted a change to something that is much more modern, has reasonable aftermarket support, and has descent handling all without sacrificing practicality.
My plan for the 5 is to improve the handling first, then look for more power. Browsing around here uncovers some great info, and people seem really nice and civil to each other, so I'm looking forward to hanging out here a fair bit!

My folks picked up a turbo Grand Caravan for a short time. IIRC, ChyCo put the Mistu engine in it instead of the more fun 2.2 or 2.5.

As for my Dodge van's, the only video I have uploaded is just a walk around of it from back in '06. Nothing special video wise, and the van isn't too pretty, but it gives a look at the engine bay etc. I still have the van, although all the goodies were swapped into a white Voyager body that was in descent shape 5 years back. Now, rust and bad paint peel have taken over. It's a shame, as the engine is awesome to drive with lots of power and torque, it's just falling apart everywhere else! My Avatar is the current engine bay.
