NEPOC meet: Baby Chris's Install/BBQ day- 4/24/05

Anything you buy before the install day, you can have shipped directly to my house, this way you wont need to bring it with you and possibly forget it....it may also save you on shipping.....I believe the rotors are going to be shipped to my house, not sure on that one though...

Start machining some guage trim rings already and make a killing!

Check some out at the meet. I have a set. They are for the proteges. daveb made and sold a couple hundred sets but then stopped making them. I paid 25 for mine new and have been offered 90 for them.

They are brushed aluminum or polished aluminum and fit snug around the 3 circular spots on the pro. The fit is snug and they use no adhesive. Pretty simple to make I would think as long as dave doesnt mind someone copying his design.

at least no1 can give me s*** about my monster exhaust anymore...which reminds me, are we gonna have an impact gun, cuz when i was switching exhausts, i couldnt get the nuts all the way tight again so its kinda loose at the axle there and i couldnt get it any tighter with a socket so its just been running with a little leak lately...completely bootleg

We'll get you all fixed up man. I dont think we are going to have an impact gun though. My compressor is way too big to bring down there.

i wasnt expecting that someone would bring one...i was basically asking if chris had one or not but i guess not...and did anyone else change their axelback and if so, how the **** did u get those nuts all the way tight cuz i sure as hell cant do it

I have a small contractor one I can bring but the 20 gallon has to stay home.

I swapped axle backs with kyle awhile ago, when he blew his motor and we were waiting for the flatbed. I think I got them both switched and tightened up in about 20 minutes or so....******* speed lightening lol....Yea I can tighten yours up some more, we gotcha covered....

Chris

Aiight, I'm going to try and make it up there. I'm going to try and put in the sound system this weekend and my clear corners. Chris, what's up with that Tint shop? are they open on Sunday?

I'll bring beer and a torque wrench.

Does anyone have a good caliper paint to recommend? This can be done in a day, right? So while I'm installing my ********** rotors and pads, I can be painting my calipers. How long does it take the paint to dry? Will I be able to drive home at the end of the day, or do the calipers have to sit longer?
