Anyone now how to put the HKS BOV that comes with the hiboost FMIC back together. Theres the gasket on the bottom, then the large metal peice, a circualr rubber peice with a metal disc in the middle, a spring, and the top portion. Anyone know which way to put all the internal peices back in? Thanks

Hey Sniper, this is how mine is put together.

ok thanks allot your a life saver. Thank god for these forums. I have it in wrong right now ive been shifting at like 2k to avoid damage. Thanks!

The right position is:

Gasket between the BOV pipe and middle aluminum piece, then the rubber diaphragm, then the spring and then the top.

It is just like the picture, but the gasket shpuld be placed between the BOV charge pipe and the big piece.

Alright thanks jaun and boom. I put my type-s on n got it to work open vent, My next question is what should i put on the extra pipe on the injen where the old recirc tube went. Right now i have a breather filter on it, is this ok or should i cap it off some how?

I capped off the extra pipe on the Injen.

Since you got the Greddy to work open vent, how many thread do you showing, and do you get any stalling or surging?

I am now running the Greddy recalculated cause I hated it stalling every once in a while. I am thinking when I up the boost this summer; I will try and run the BOV open vent.

I might just recirc. I love the sound but I want the car to run at its best. I have like 5 threads showing. It has a gobble gobble then a psssssssstt its cool. I should tighten it a little bit more to get rid of the trukey thats left. Maybe when i get the MPI installed it could be tuned so it runs right open vent but im not sure...
