My brake calipers aren't Tight: HELP!

I've been to hell and back with the calipers on my 2003 Protege LX.

I've replaced both front calipers, rotors, and pads, and every month or so I have to take it apart and "realign everything" so everything is even again. I use synthetic brake grease, and make sure everything is perfect. I've even cracked open the bleeders and re-bled the brakes, but it seems the calipers aren't as tight as they should be. ALL the brake parts are VERY tight, except I can still wiggle the brake calipers ever so often. Arent they supposed to be a little tight?

It's causing a rattle at low speeds over gravel roads unless i ride my brakes...the noise goes away when my foot is on the brake pedal slightly.

Bleeding was no problem....I guess the lines COULD be replaced but at 115k miles and i'm getting even braking power...I dont think that's the root of the problem.

Anybody want to chime in? I'm stumped.

I've also searched...no avail.
