MSP vs Sentra Spec-V

Well this one was a good 1/8 mile race (I am estimating becuase we only got up to around 60) It is a cloudy day here and my car is a little dirty (im washing it right not) so I kind of was a little embarsed becuase this Spec-V was a nice ride clean and pearl white. We pulled up to the light, and I looked over I could tell he was game I had 3 people in my car he had just himself, I have a boost controller (runing at 9psi) and I think he just had an intake. We both had a good launch but right after 1st gear I was 1/2 car ahead of him we traded off and on between 1 car and 1/2 car untill about 60 when I just started pulling on him big time and he called it quits rolled down his window and said nice ride (what a cool middle aged guy) obviously I was extremely pleased with my performance in the past I had a trouble with launching but now I think I got it down. If I beat a Spec-V with 3 people I cant wait to see what my times at the track are going to be! Just to let you know I don't normally go looking for races but I was dieing to see how our MSP's would match up with a Spec-V in real time peace-

good run, Btw if you had 3 extra people in the car, that's like an extra 450-600 lbs (estimated). That means you would would have toasted him by like 1 1/2 ta 2 car lenghs if you were by yourself. Sweet

Yeah, I head to Houston tomorrow to get my rods put in, and then to bring my replacement engine back. I have an engine hoist, and engine stand. Engine should be replaced by next week.

we have a spec v in our club and we battle constintly those cars have tons of torque he has intake, header, cat-back and pulleys and i am running 9 psi and intake with us who ever gets a better launch wins...hopefully when i put my kosei k1s and 555r up front and take those heavy racing harts off i can get him every time.....btw we are both running 14.8 in the quarter at 92 mph
