MS6 sport weight VS MS6 Touring

Whats the difference in Weight.. I have the sport with no sunroof and cloth seats. No power seats or anything like that.

So is the sport lighter than the touring model

From what I have read, it suggest that they are the same curb wight, however I've also heard from good friends that auto x 3-4 times a month that most cars equipped with a sunroof weight nearly 60-70 pounds heavier than the same car without one. Plus all the power accessories that are in the car. I'd imagine that the sport would wight between 60-80 pounds less. just my 2 cents.

Thats what I would think.. I know me and my bud at one point both had a Acura GSR his had leather interior and a system.. His car weighed almost 2900lbs Mine weighed 2670. I figure the leather plus the power accessories plus the sunroof at least has to be what you stated..

Well im gonna weigh my car in november when I go to ENNIS I will come back and post the weight here to let you know what it exactly weighs with and without me in it

its a positive yes. when they say "curb weight" is the same, that often times means they are not counting trim variables.
curb weight in this case means it is the vehicle with standards equipment (no options), no passengers and no cargo.

the gt has extra glass sunroof & sunroof motor, leather seats with heating electronics AND electronic adjustment motor, those are EASILY extra 50-100 lbs.
so yes, them SPORT kids have some weight reduction over us on the track. a bit.

Not all GTs had sunroofs, mine didn't.
