the same no, useable yes... i have them(*edit megan v6 springs), they are very low around a 2" drop all around, the car handles fine, but im no autoxer so i wouldnt know how to elaborate on that... you'll need a fender roll for any plus sized wheel/tires. im using 18x8 +35 wheels and 225/40 tires.... i recommend ms6 specific h&r or rpm sports, or save and get BC coilovers

If you plan on auto-x, then get H&R springs.
Body roll picture of MS6 at auto-x. This was at low speed too.

OP, you're missing the point entirely. Sure, the Megan's will work, but they're not going to be an improvement in anything other than looks. If that's what you want, heat your springs or cut the coils. There are plenty of threads (with a little search, that thing in the upper right corner) that will show you what you're looking for. When you go and bottom out because the spring rates are too soft, or your shocks wear out too quickly, don't come back on here and b**** because you've been warned by several.
There's a reason that companies manufacturer SPECIFIC springs for the MS6.
this is really nice to know, but like you said i read this information plenty of times in previous threads and acknowledge it. So restating this info for me was not necessary. Yet for some reason you still managed to overlook my latest question. My ACTUAL question is asking whether the 4 cylinder and v6 springs the same since someone in the sticky for lowering mentioned that they have the same spring rate?
Well, you're obviously moving on in blind ignorance to the bigger issue. Whether or not the I4 and V6 spring rates are the same is irrelevant, since the springs are inferior.
In all honesty, I don't know whether they are or not. Instead of heeding the advice of myself (and others in here) why don't you save yourself the potential headaches and get the proper part for the job?
because im a full time college student with a bad paying job, who pays his own bills. Plus i like the generous drop.
Same here, that still doesn't make it a wise decision to comprimise like that.
Let me add something; a local member was running a set of Eibach Sport-Lines on one of our fun runs on his MS6. During hard turns, his bumper was scraping the ground, leaving huge gouges in the paint. Mine is lowered comparatively with H&Rs, and I've never come close to scraping in a hard turn, even through the same roads as he did.
Point is, $250 for springs is not bad. I don't know what Megans run, but I'm not suggesting you go out and throw $400+ Autoexe parts on the car. Save some cash and get the right stuff so you're not paying for repairs due to them down the road.
thats a good point. Unfortunately i already bought I4 megans for 50 bucks and now i am not sure what to do.
sorry for thread jack, but where do i get a pedo bear sticker???
Does anyone kno if rolling fenders is needed if gettig megans with stock rim and tires? I may have read back in day that you didn't but I just don't remember and couldn't find it ne where
