okay guys i'm running an 18x9.5+38 wheel. fenders rolled (superbly by markspd6) and my h&r springs just showed up. however, i've heard h&rs settle very, very differently from the normal 1.4.1.5 and they usually end up at 2.0-2.25. every car is different, i know, but i figure i (and any other users) can get an idea if we get enough feedback here. please post your brand and it's listed drop rate vs. the settled drop.

note: i know v6 springs are used on the ms6 and that firmness vs. softness is a variable between ms6 and v6 specific springs.

Holy hell! Thats quite a change in drop. Aren't the springs preloaded from the factory? They shouldn't drop much from factory specs. I have coilovers on my car and dropped it 1" in the front and .5" in the rear and it hasn't changed. If it settles in at that low of a height wouldn't the spring lose its rate and become softer thus making your car bounce more?

that's where i'm in the dark. this is my first drop...i never gave enough of a f*** about my other cars to bother with suspension work lol. but this is just what i'm hearing from h&r users: they say the springs drop to AT LEAST 2 inches...more in some cases...i've talked to at least 5 guys. one member said h&r simply boasts that their ms6 springs are specific for our cars but they really aren't. just trying to clear things up by getting some feedback from users who have firsthand experience.
