mazda 6 coupe?

i saw this picture in some Japanese mazda forum, is it true that they are planning a coupe version of the 6? just wondering if usa will have one too. (moderators plz move if i posted in wrong section)

I really like the 6 Convertible Pic.

In my opinion they should make a 6 convertible, for those of us that need a larger Miata experience, and then turn the MX-5 Miata back into the raw and light roadster it was back in the 90's.(drive2)

FWD convertible < RWD roadster, but it'd be sweet nonetheless. Mazda hasn't done a FWD 4 door convertible since the BF Familia, '85-'88, and that wasn't upscale like the 6. lol

There will never be another raw and light Miata due to laws and regulations. Airbags, ABS, specifications on door hieght and structure, and the buying consumers dictate what the NC Miata has. 4 cup holders. But the new one isn't all that much heavier than the NA Miata compared to other vehicles.

Exactly...cuz if it did, I'd be the first one to buy. I'm thinking of getting rid of my 6...really getting bored with it. (unamused)
