To what degree does the lowering spring kit lower the P5 on stock struts? In addition is the ride least somewhat ok with the springs on stock struts? Will in another month or so go to different struts and sway bars.

But its going in for warrenty service and would like it to come out with little extra on board. :D

The springs are the same as the racing beat springs as far as my understanding goes. That being the case then you should see a marked improvement in both ride and handling. It does lower it, although not that much. Racing beat quotes 3/4 of an inch on their site but it's actually a little more than that. It's closer to 1 - 1 1/8 inches. The ride is 10 times better, not real stiff because of the stock struts, but stiff enough for sprited driving. With the stock springs the rear wouldn't slide, with the RB springs the rear will now slide just enough to almost trick me into thinking its a rear driver.

Kewl thnx, was hoping it wouldnt lower it alot. 1 inche or so is about enough least for now.

Can someone post some pics of a P5 with Mazdaspeed/Racing Beat springs?

I would like to see before and after pics if possible...
