Just bought a MP5 two months ago and still picking my teeth out of the roof of my mouth. I dont know whats worse the pot holes in NY or the ride...
Still love the car...

This is my first front wheel drive car so Im not sure it there is a problem. Off the line the car pulls hard to the right? Is this common. All I can think of is a drivetrain problem or alignment..

Anyone got some suggestions?

Welcome to the family, glad to have you aboard!

Welcome to a quasi sporty suspension, you should stay away formt he MP3s or MSP if you think the P5 is harsh.

If excessive it could be an aligment problem but you also have to remember this car has no limited slip differential so its basicly 1 wheel drive.

hello Beano and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! (stash)

Someone told me that the pulling I felt was torq steer during heaving acceleration. I nodded and smiled but I'm not sure that makes sense considering the Pro 5 dosent have much torq. Could someone shed some light on where or not this guy was pulling my leg.

Actual;y for a 2.0L we have alot of torqu but I think its mostly the lack of the limited slip that you feel. With my turbo MP3 If I didn't hold the wheel I would pull to the right, I would do a full 90 degree turn in a heart beat.

Yes that is Tourque steer. A LSD as 1st mentioned would alieviate the problem of tourque steer. And we do have quite alot of torque, go look at a honda motor if you want to see a lack thereof.

Come on!
Hondas have torque,

for a brief second a 3500 rpm, ain't s*** before or after that though.
(lol)
