LOL. My thoughts precisely. I was about to get my hopes up for this enforcement, then I remembered I'm in CA. Here, speeders are the greatest evil to exist. Around here, all cops do is traffic enforcment(the majority anyway). And ppl LOVE it. EVERYONE here is that previously described ego-tard, that gets perverse pleasure from "blocking" speeders. All the while they turn without looking, talk on their cell phones, and drive at least 10mph under the speed limit. Oh, and forget about right-of-way at stop signs. If you mentioned right of way to these ppl, you'd get a blank stare in return. Well, that's my rant for the day. (blah)
I'm soo happy for this new law, hope Canada adopts it. I come accross left lane hoging monsters every bloody day, sometimes I flash my lights and honk at them like crazy till they move and I dont give a s*** about a ticket.
Seems like most of the drivers around here that have Texas plates are especially bad, sometimes doing 5-10mph UNDER the posted limit while camping out in the left lane. VERY frustrating, and at times very dangerous when there is a lot of traffic.
I agree that there are some but you can't say that about most of us. I normally do 5-10 OVER speed limit. I can say the same about some people with NM plates, basically, it's the same in any state you live in, there are some that are fast, and some that are slow, and some that aren't either and are just annoying.
i hope cali catches wind of this. it'd go along with the law that i always use to beat speeding tickets, which it says no person shall exceed the safest speed due to current weather, traffic or road conditions. i always get nailed at 3 am with no one on the road doing between 80-90. and i always win cause the judges know what the free ways look like at 3 am...no one out there.
