Lack of inspection marks?

This post borders on paranoia but I thought I'd go ahead and send it anyway.

Every Japanese car I've ever owned had paint marks over a bolt head or on an assembly, indicating a proper torque spec. I don't see any similar marks under the hood of my 5 at all. Somebody let me know that their 5 looks the same under the hood so I don't break out the torque wrench (I'm still tracing a vibration issue.) and I'll be eternally grateful...
