That is the memories. I shall be picking up a Mazdaspeed Protege tonight at Lancaster hopefully.

Being that I work for Tri-Point Engineering (My girlsfriends dad), they have convinced me to buy a MSP.... After reading all the good and bad things about the MSP it still makes me want one due to the fact that I know in the end it will be a Car I will never regret purchasing. Hopefully we will be making a Tri-point CAI Box and Front Mount just like the RX-7 Tri-Point Boxes.

They have those on Order, Soon enough they will be getting them in. We are concentrating on our 3rd gen RX-7 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Boxes. -Jeff

As well as Mark the other Owner of tri-point got a Mazda 6, So hopefully

Congrats on the switch! I made the MSP plunge on Monday trading in my Subaru RS. :D

Soon enough we will hopefully. With all the SCCA Touring Races going on this couple months we won't have any time for new addition to performance parts for the MSP

well i'll be interested to see what tri-point will come out with cause those tri-point mazdas in the speed world challenge are getting better and better :D

Considering that the majority of the teams out there have been racing in this class for a long time, they have there cars so well tweaked and strong that its just very tough competition out there. Even though RTR has there new RSX car, I'm guessing they have been tuning that car for a while before they put it on the track. We are confident this year will be a lot better (even though its been a rough start). Our Team has a lot of potential for placing in the top 5 for the past couple of races. Its just Bad Luck that we don't. Well we are up in Sonoma right now, wish us luck. =)

RTR didn't do so well last race. and they lost peter cunningham....what's up with that? who's gonna drive the supercharged nsx? though it seems like the only cars that stand a chance are the turner bmws, tri-point mazdas, rtr rsxs, and possibly that new spec v that cunningham is racing now. btw, whatever happened to taz harvey and the skunk2 civic? i didn't see him anywhere in the last race.

tri-point air boxes were desgined for the 3rd gen rx-7 that produce nice power that kept all the engine heat from entering into the intake.

Good news! Our Team Quailifyed really well. 2nd and 3rd so the race is tomorrow! =)

Plus I picked up my Mazdaspeed, and wow what a nice handling car. As far as driving it. What RPMS should i Shift to break it in. As well as ive been just pushing on the gas half way up to like 3,500- 4,000 rpm. Is that bad?

the manual says break in is 600 miles, and dont have to do much special.... id just stay under 5000 for the first 500 miles, then up to 600 ream a little, then just go go go from there :)
Id change the oil, and check all fluid.

Congrats on your new car, im sure you'll love it!
