Needless to say it was my friends.

He bought it last Saturday... expecting it to be bought already. He went in and asked if it was sold, and the guy said no.

Bought it right there w/o asking the price or driving it!

$30K

The RECARO seats are wicked.. they really grab my luv handles!

As for the go.. haven't ridden in it yet.

He says that it's pushing 18.8psi right now stock.. Damn!

Friend also just walked in and walked out with a EVOIII.

And though we never went pass 5k, the car was unbelieveable.


Insane, the handling and balance of the car.

AHHh *drools*

It pushes something like 19.9 before 3,000, then settles to 16 in the higher rpms. Its in the little newpaper looking thing he should have gotten.

Plus cant beat the water spray FMIC

Though its only a replacement for something much more bad arse, that we will never get in the States.

we both work in reston, and the car is here NOW

I just got a call from Fairfax Mitsubishi, and he said that they aren't even offering it at cost.. more like 5K over sticker! WTF?!

Yep, though 5k over isnt bad. Seen them in the 50k range.

I was joking with my friend that he should put it up for sale online, get 45k for it. Thats about a 15k profit
Then go back buy another, sell, buy another, sell.....In little time you will have gotten enough profits to go back and outright buy it.


The thing that truely caught my attention was when going through a small twisty road, we went from a outside line to a inside.....without any noticeable protest from the car.

It as if the car just went "Oh you want to go there...OK!"

He already went up againts our friends brand new M3 SMG, and pulled on it. All while not going above 5k......Just entering the nice portion of the power band.

Oh cant wait till its broken in.

that's why I was a bit shocked at the 5K markup.

Stohlman has: 1 a waiting list
2 1st come 1st serve Evo VIII's as well

What color did he get?

My friend got a Red one, which though I dont like red, actually looks really good.

The picture of the Red EVO VIII's on Mitsu webpage makes it look almost orange, but its not. Very very nice red.

And that exhaust sound Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

btw has your friend ever done anything with the DSM crowd? Seems alot of them are snatching the EVO's up.

No, I don't think he's apart of DSM (which even I don't know what that means)

But his is that sunburnt yellow (just like 2F2F)

It is High quality.

DSMs are the Ecclipse/Talons/Lasers from which the Lancer generation was inspired by.


The colors are indeed very sharp.
