Just a follow up

I would have ended up with about 440 miles on that tank had I let it go further. I filled up before we left for Delaware and had about 411 on it already. The light wasn't on.

you're a cheater... I got 200mile at half a tank and thats like the best. I've gotten 110miles off a quarter tank - the best ever... are you using a high octane fuel? what gas station you go to?

I usually hit up the Sonoco near me. I put good old 87 in it. I have no reason to use high octane in this car. It's pretty much stock except for the intake. I just do a lot of highway driving.

what kind of intake? I use 87 now too and do a lot (A LOT) of highway driving. I do about 100 miles a day and rush hour in the morning and most afternoons. so I guess 100 per 1/4 tank isn't bad given the traffic I suffer through? oh, and I use Shell most of the time (stupid ads...)

I have no idea of the brand. It was forsale on here...my buddy bought them, and we pieced one together for both his car and my car. I probably lost some power...but I gained 2 MPG. Right about now...that's worth more to me.

you can always put a wood block behind your gas pedal so it won't make it to WOT (rofl2)

ps: i'm a silver p5 in baltimore, but it wasn't me on 95 at 5:30am that's for sure!!

Sunlight silver P5's with DG Lips. Three in the same thread. The world will stop spinning soon.

That's great mileage, I'm lucky to get 400km out of a tank. Something's wrong, but I have no idea where to start looking.

I normally cruise at 75 at night with easy traffic, and up to 85 in the morning with heavy traffic and some city driving. I get around 200 miles on half a tank on average (with hard acceleration on occassion). so maybe if I did 55-65 on highway, I may get more miles. but I'll pay for extra gas to get where I gotta be quicker. time = money = value

Wind resistance is an exponential function, so...even dropping to 70 mph will get you much better mileage than 75. I got 260 miles on a half tank at 70.

Just my $0.02

gives you back a penny.. (outie)

260? that's like foriegn to my car unless its in the south western region. lol. I'm gonna try that to. and yeah, wind resistance is a B... I got to north jersey (new NYC) in like 2hrs 15min, but my tank was on 1/4 full. but I appreciated the extra 1.5hrs and got some cold stone
