Damn, I agree with you. Boost, WBO2 and EGT are good to have. The tranny temp is good for auto trannies, but for manual's it does nothing. I like to have a real coolant temp gauge, the damn stock one is no more then a fancy idiot light.

he has an automatic....thats why I suggested it over a fuel pressure guage. Coolant temp isn't needed since it's supplied in the haltech.

Ive got tranny temp and boost aguge out of the way. However the 20psi and 30psi gauges are cheaper than the 15psi, so ill go with one of them. Whats EGT stand for though?

Exhaust Gas Temperature

boost, WBO2, oil pressure, tranny temp; for auto
boost WBO2, oil pressure, EGT; for manual

because of the design of our stock oil pans I think a oil pressure gauge is a must if you drive and corner hard. unless you get an accumulator, or MAM's oil pan comes out anytime soon. I have actually been thinking of using one of our small unused accumulators at work and an oil filter sandwich adapter (or filter relocation adapter) myself

Hmmm im not really lookin to pay 400$ on a WBo2 and I know the regular a/f gauges are useless. I also doubt ill be having any oil starvation problems. I think ill go with boost, egt, and tranny temp.

the wideband o2 is worth it. in my opinion on your setup, its more important than a boost gauge.

I've got an Autometer EGT gauge with probe for sale if you are interested.

As for the 15psi boost gauges, have you looked at Stewart Warner gauges? I just bought a 15psi gauge from them for $60 shipped.

you can get the non gauge version (and still plug it into your haltech for monitoring)

its roughly $300 retail

yea a mustang forum is have a GB on them i dont like them though people generally run through sensors on those. Plus you cant really mount it anywhere its like an apex standalone box.

thats really odd - they use the same sensor as the AEM last i checked

because you can have perfect A/F ratios and still have the timing way off... your EGT's will reflect this.

its the best way to tune your timing map

hmmm so if im running a f10x which only allows fuel map tuning isnt it kind of worthless?
