hey guys, thewrench has been banned from the forum for reasons i cant not talk about openly, please if found his howto to be helpful in anyway please say so, so the mods can see that and maybe unban him.

looks good now.. cept the weatherstripping is pretty much a sponge.. gonna soak up water till I get the real thing..

Nice, I was thinking about this on my long drive home one afternoon, and never bothered to see if the holes were there for the weatherstripping. I'll add this to the list of parts I need to order from the mazda dealership I guess.

Did you order two weatherstripping pieces? I called mazdastuff and they told me there were two so I ordered both, but I haven't taken them out of the package to see which goes where.

EDIT: Anyone care to provide measurements of how far it should be from the hood edge (I don't have my stock hood anymore)? A pic of the underside of the stock hood should work as well. Thanks
