2003 Mica Black Protege5 - 5speed - JVC - first oil change@521m
hey, just wanted to introduce myself
being new to tha clan and all..

we just bought a 2003 mica black protege5 9/22/03
5speed
all the standard sh!t
JVC headunit
100w spare tire mounted sub...factory
shaved the roof hack {removed cross rails and placed filler plates}

ive had about a dozen 85-86 3 door civics
6 and a half 85-86 crxes
2 86 323s
a 88 rx-7
64 ford galaxy 390 3 on tha tree
a 71 full size ford 390 4 barrel
65 plymouth sport fury III bling bling
68 barracuda fast back 383 4 speed dana 60 *classic muscle*
99 chevy xtreme 5 speed
and the big pimpin all glass hatch, factory sunroof 1979 ford pinto

and i currently own, besides the mp5
a 84 mazda b2000 sundowner -s l a m m e d -, shaved bed tiedowns, rear bumper..lots of rice aluminium accents, bed liner
runs fast and worx hard
and a 86 cavi convertable and a 84 chevy fullsize long bed

i cant get enough of the shape of the mp5, way better looking than any civic in my opinion, and apperantly i used to like the old civic....the mp5 kinda looks like what a 88 3 door civic could have evolved to, but honda desided to kill the crx and 3 door lines.

ive only seen two other mp5's out here, niether black..we like being unique
seemed like as soon as we bought the X {99 xtreme} everyone else got one too
we have two kids now, we needed more seats
mazda has a great deal on these little cars, and we found an awesome dealer to work with. only hitch we have hhad with this car is it was missing the fuse box cover, and one wheel center, no biggie and bill gatton mazda of bristol TN has both on order to mail to us. im honestly considering buying a second. too bad they didnt make the mazdaspeed version in a mp5 body :'(

ive been floating around tha site for a couple days, checkin out the phat mp5z and mp'z

everyone has a unique look to their mazdaz
i already have a ton of questions, but ill get to those in later threadz

welcome to the board. perform a search for all of the question you have and i would say most have been answered somewhere here. if you cant find it post away, we are all here to help

i was born and raised in Fayetteville NC, but i currently reside in Coeburn VA...20 minutes from KY

I loved the Plymoth Sports Fury! I had a 69 Ford Falcon Futura with a 302 and a 72 Dodge Dart Swinger with a 318. As much as I love vintage cars, my P5 is by far the best car I've ever owned. When I bought mine, everyone at my work HAD to see it inside and out. The funny thing is around the same time two other people had just got $26000 Accords and noone gave a sh!t.

Welcome to the site. Its awsome. Everything on anything is on here somewhere and you'll find yourself checking it everyday for new ideas:D

ive already come across several ideas. gonna try to avoid the rice boy effect. we bought the mp3 to haul tha babies in..

and man does that thing haul :)

i forgot i had a 73 duster forever...225ci no radio or heat..

new paint, beuty rings for my rallyes, and vinyl top tho

anyway, ive been looking at more mp5's on here..very nice ridez m8z
