Hep Me Please! AT Light on 2006 Mazda 5

Hello All,

The AT light comes on in my Mazda 5 whenever I try to accelerate suddenly. I usually have to turn the car off and back on the get the light to go off. Also, when the light comes on, I have no manual, and in AT mode the second gear is gone. Any suggestions.

Sorry, I think it needs to go to the dealer or a Tanny shop.

Have you checked the A/T fluid level dipstick?

Is there a software reader to read codes for Mazdas?

I'm new to Mazdas. Vag-Com is what we use for VW and similar Euro cars.

And/Or can we pull into an Autozone or PepBoys and get the code read for free? Then diagnose the fault code?
