I got as far as this. I replaced the main fuse just to do cause it was corroded and broken(was not popped tho) did not fix the problem. I tried to hook uo a scanner and could not connect to anything. The main relay was not powering from NC to COM. I jumped the 2 and got instant connection so i figured the relay was bad. Ordered a new relay and that didnt work. I swapped the fuse block out with my friends and mine started his car so i know the fuse block is good. I have power to everything but the coil packs. The injectors have power, sensors etc. Any ideas??
Check the main fuel injector relay I believe its green. When I do an oil change I pull it and crank the motor to prime the oil system and the temp gauge goes all the way up.
I can not get power to my coil packs. I have power to everything else but them. The main relay is not making a connection properly and wont activate anything. If i jump the fuse block i can get a communication on the DLC. If i plug in the relay, nothing works.
You shouldnt need to order any of these fuses. Literally just go and pop every one out one at a time and inspect it.. worth a shot. I had the same problem with my old talon and had be confused for a while, turned out to be something that simple as a fuse.
Wrong answer......voltage has to be applied from the temp sensor sending a reading. If that was the case that the main fuse blown will make the gauge stick then that would be the same as not having a battery in the car at all. Your gauges wont work at all with no power through the system. Sounds like you overheated the engine somehow, it got so hot that it seized up the temp sensor to where it constantly throws a high ohm signal and blew your head gasket to where you have no compression for it to start. Been there done that but mine didnt get so hot that the sensor stuck.
