new to this.
Bought my Mazda6(i) in May of this year used. Love it. Wicked car, worth every penny!
But I've already had my first breakdown and I'm a bit cash strapped at this point.
The Muffler on the Passenger side broke (seems the car had an accidet from the previous owner - unreported... grrr)
Looking for a temp fix until the spring when I want to replace the whole exhaust system, but can't bring myself to spend $400 on parts and labour for 1 muffler. (Canada's too expensive...)
Can anyone confirm if the Muffler on the '07 Mazdaspeed6 is the same as the muffler on the 1st gen '06 Mazda6(i) 2.3L.
everything I've found seems to say its identical other than the MS6 muffler has an extra hanger, and simply the gasket used is different to connect to the Y-pipe.
Help, don't want to buy the MS6 parts and be stuck trying to get rid of them afterward.
Can I fit an MS6 muffler as an OE replacement for my Stock '06 6(i) Muffler?
