Thanks for the welcome - right back at yah Big Blue. Yeah the salesman was a little surprised. I actually had done a lot of research on the net before we both went in there. So I knew what I was willing to pay ahead of time, what the dealer paid, etc. I think we got a pretty good deal.

Now as for the research I did at night at the car lot jumping the fence after hours and searching out the only two yellow 5-speed P5s in the metro area that were in one location - that's another story.

Hey Mazdaspeedgirl - as you can tell from my name I have a soft spot for those little Mazdas also. Don't even get me started on RX-7s. I've owned two and still own the 88 and I would only try to convince you to buy one of those too! We have about 50 members in our local RX-7 club. It's a blast. How is your club going? Big events planned for the summer I hope.

Ooops - off topic for this board. At least we're still talking Mazdas!
