Yeah, get gameshark. The game is a lot more fun starting out with 10billion dollars. Also, if you had GT3 you can roll over some license credits.

don't use gameshark, b-spec is like using gameshark, except with a learning deficiency. If you want a nice tip, go turn on tire wear, get on a course you like, set a lap time with perfect tires, wear out all of your tires, and try to get that same lap time with perfect tires except with worn out tires. Take as many laps as you need to do it, once you do, go redo your perfect lap with perfect tires and I can almost guarantee you'll be much quicker and have a lot more stability. Other than that, play the game, get all the licenses yourself, and if you do ever run into any problems, go look on google and you can find many videos of how people did the same license or whatnot.

My biggest pet peeve with the earlier games was it took forever to get enought money to buy and mod the cars that you want. That's why I recommended gameshark. If you want to make it harder for yourself, then go ahead. I did the first two games completely by myself, but I don't have 4+ hours a day to devote to the game anymore.

well, I can guarantee you 270,000 dollars in 10 minutes. If you clear your score on the 2nd race of Special Events, redo it, sell the car, you get 270,000 in 10 minutes which is about equivalent to what you can do to any car you own so that's how I have earned most of my money. Last time I spent 4 hrs on GT4 was when I didn't have all my licenses.

Yeah, the race with the Caddy Cien. I did that at first, but it's so tedious. Like I said, if you want to make it harder for yourself go ahead. I choose to put more of my time towards other things.

Edit: Actually, you win the first race to get the Caddy, and then you do the second race to get the Toyota Rally SUV. Sell, clear the records, and do it again.
